Prior to being a DUI defense attorney, Richard was a prosecutor in Cobb County. He prosecuted DUI cases and learned they process that prosecutors use to evaluate and prepare DUI cases for trial. Not only does he have the experience as a successful DUI defense attorney and former prosecutor, but he has the experience as a former law enforcement officer. Richard has completed over 1,000 hours of training as a police officer. He was certified by the State of Georgia in performing field sobriety testing. He was Intermediate and Basic Georgia P.O.S.T. certified. While a police officer, he conducted numerous DUI traffic stops, field sobriety tests on the side of the roadway, performed and operated the State administered breath test machine and testified in court.
